Bio

Buckley was first formed by Phillip Foshée and Stephan McCarley in the winter of 2004. Personal friendship bloomed into a creative musical outlet for the two, allowing Foshée's energetic vocals and passion for songwriting to mesh with McCarley's melodic guitar lines. After several months, the two fine-tuned a distinctly sophisticated sound and were ready to record their first EP.

"So Much We Can't See" was released in 2006, revealing Buckley as one of the premier local artists in Houston, Texas. The title track, "So Much We Can't See," serves as the lifeblood of the EP and reminds listeners to discover more of themselves by striving beyond what is merely visible . However, it was "An Atomic Bomb" that received widespread listener support from the EP. The emotionally charged ballad speaks of lost love and the redemption of past regrets, humbly gracing radio stations on college campuses around Texas.

EPs in hand, Buckley began to perform across the great state of Texas. Every performance stemmed new opportunities for Buckley to gain support and secure a loyal fanbase.

One year later, Buckley welcomed Benjamin Horne as the permanent drummer to the band. Horne's powerful energy on the drum set further defined Buckley's sophisticated rock and roll, effectively carving a unique niche in the local Texas music scene.

Currently, Buckley is excited to announce the release of a new EP, debuting during Buckley's East Coast tour (July 4 - August 1, 2008).
