Buddy Merriam & Back Roads celebrate 40 years in Bluegrass Music in 2020 with a high energy entertaining show!
One of the longest running professional bluegrass bands in the North East since 1980 the group has been performing hard driving bluegrass and Buddy's original mandolin music at concerts, festivals corporate and private events where quality entertainment is provided.
Buddy has released 7 albums and 2 books of his original mandolin compositions and hosts the popular "Blue Grass Time" radio program on WUSB 90.1 fm for 28 years.
Buddy was given the Long Island Sound Award from the Long Island Music Hall of Fame for his "Outstanding Contribution to Long Island's Musical Heritage" and is the Artist in Residence at Stony Brook University with the Deep Roots Ensemble this season.
