From the depths of the south, comes forth a band so unique in flavor, it should be served with a grilled steak and an ice cold beer. The Bud Phillips Band, is a band that utilizes the sounds of Southern feel, Rock/Pop and a bit of Twang that underlies a swamp of melodies that reveal words that dig deep to your soul. Based out of Orlando, a few friends from DeLand, went on to create something with a twist to cut through the over saturated atmosphere that surrounds the Florida scene. The band consists of Bud Phillips and John Collins, but when out live and in the studio these following fellow musicians help create,write and play along with the band. They are, Keith McGrane, Justin Jacobs and Max Stevens. The Bud Phillips Band created 12 songs with varying styles to showcase during 2011. With those songs they have had the chance to play local venues around central Florida, the Florida Music Festival twice (2011-2012) and hope to continue playing Florida’s best music festival, also, they have had the chance to play with rock legend, Rick Derringer. For 2013, they plan on releasing an album with a new focus and drive.
