Bio
'Brothers by blood' is how Zachary (bass/vox) and Andrew (guitar/vox) Gabbard describe themselves about each other, but 'brothers of sound' is how they describe themselves when Joseph Sebaali (beat) enters the equation. Together, rising from the ashes of Thee Shams (Fat Possum), the BUFFALO KILLERS are a band reborn in their ambitions.
The BUFFALO KILLERS self-titled debut was born in the sleepy hills of Ohio and found a home on the reels of producer John Curley's (Afghan Whigs) Ultrasuede Studios in Cincinnati, Ohio. With one ear to the ground, thanking their ancestor for the principles of sound, the drug-induced rock swagger blends the San Martine des Morelle freedom ballad of wailing guitar and wah-wah harmonies with the melancholy cries of the nostalgic meets world gone wrong world in Children of War and the slide guitar locomotive that is The Path Before Me. The BUFFALO KILLERS set afoot a new beat with the promise of a new day.
This is their trail. This is their land. This is their sound. This is their way.
