He blends rock, reggae, blues, jazz, and funk. “Basszilla” is also the psychedelic jam master and a very solid and groovy player. Kenny started playing live in a Tampa Bay based rock band in 1989, called “Clever Enemy” playing throughout Florida. The band was signed to DeepCut records where they recorded two albums, “Welcome To Paradise” and “Legend Of Blackwater Swamp”. Thereafter, radio interviews, magazines articles, and performing was a way of life. The band was played on radio locally, and in Germany for many years. The band was doing well, but decided to call it quits after 8 years. “Basszilla” found a new soulful feeling in the blues, and started the band, “Red House”, a three piece heavy funky blues band that recorded “Smokin The Blues” and “Southern Fried Blues”. After 5 years of blues, Kenny started getting into more of the jam bands, and the real roots of all music.
