BUHO is an indie/alternative/elektro solo artist.
Part of the Spanish indie/alternative movement, BUHO draws it's influences from English American and British rock bands. The band's debut single, “Sombra Electica” (Electric Shadow) and "Atraccion Mecanica" (Mechanical Attraction) brought some attention among the Spanish and English indie rock scene in Los Angles California.
BUHO’s sound goes from psychedelic/atmospheric synthesizers, to British rock guitars mixed with simple but catchy bass and drum beats. Lyrically, BUHO expresses emotions through metaphors and magic realism that are left to the listener’s own interpretation.
After many years of performing with different artists and not obtaining the results BUHO had envisioned for his music; BUHO decided to take matters into his own hands and started pre-recording the drums, bass and synthesizer of his songs. In late 2009, BUHO put his experiment into action and begins playing small gigs with his pre-recorded tracks and some session musicians. For BUHO, the results were more than what he had expected and progressively added different musicians to the show's line up.
BUHO is currently working on their first EP.
