Building a Better Spaceship is a hyper-kinetic, crowd-moving, engaging 5-piece alternative rock band that formed early 2005 in Los Angeles, CA. Members include vocalist Vinn Lombardo, drummer Adam Holt, guitarist Rick Johnson, bassist Ross Facundo and their newest member, guitarist Paul Funk.
Already in their short history together, BBS brought down the house at the KROQ Microbrew Festival, won 1st place at the AMP Battle of the Bands in Las Vegas and was named 'BEST NEW BAND' in the US out of over 200 acts from 12 major markets.
BBS has gained fans across the US as the opening act for Puddle of Mudd, 30 Seconds to Mars, Lifehouse and Lit. They have also shared the stage with Unwritten Law, 311, The Killers, Hoobastank and Avenged Sevenfold.
BBS musical interests include U2, Stone Temple Pilots, Deftones, Foo Fighters
