The best kept secret in music
Press
This week I thought I'd try something different and be a gossip columnist. I came across a few pieces of juicy gossip about local bands -- and by "juicy," I mean "mildly interesting," and by "gossip," I mean "public knowledge." My favorite new discovery was Bula Banaca, a jazz/funk combo from St. Clair that played on Saturday in front of McMorran Place during Performers Among Us. My friends and I especially enjoyed the saxophonist's use of a wah-wah pedal. Awesome.

Bio
We all met through high school or friends that we have played with prior to forming this band. Our original intentions were to just experiment around with different styles and experiment with different friends, and later decided to enter a local battle of the bands, where we took the judges votes. We all have prior experiances in bands, and have an ambition to create a new wave of music for the next generations to experiance. Our influences would be: James Brown, George Clinton, King Crimson, The Zombies, Deep Purple, and Ravi Shankar.
