“Bully is back! The girls sent me a new 3-song demo that demonstrates how much they've improved since last year, especially in the vocal department. Their grungy sound is still intact - the sound is much more "produced" than on their previous demo, but in a way that accentuates, not distracts from, what makes 'em good. ………….. This is a good band, folks. Hopefully there'll be an official commercial release soon that I can rave about. For now, visit www.bulleez.com “-Norman Famous from www.normanfamous.com - Norman Famous

“I checked out the cd and the quality is a lot better. Your demo rocked though, so did this.
The first track sounded Tool-ish, I dug it, although of the three it was the one I got into the least. I think track two was my fav, it definitely rocked pretty solid. I would imagine people tell you that track 3 is the one they like the best. The breakdown and the quicker singing make it pretty catchy, breakdowns are always cool! I enjoyed it, I will definitely pop it in from time to time. (that is a good thing, I have like 1000 cds, and my one roommates combined probably have about 4000, it is hard to get into our rotation)………………...”

”Bully - Hard rock chic band fused together from members of many other projects. Influences include everything from Veruca Salt and L7 to old U2 and Alice in Chains. Enchanting harmonies, tight lead riffs, solid bass lines, and tempo setting back-beat drums - Bully combines it all without overpowering their audience. Demo cd soon to be available. Check out our show calendar or the new improved Bully website for dates in Hampton Roads. Catch Bully live - you'll be glad you did!!”-Jason from www.varockbands.com - VA Rockbands

Bio

Bully is an original rock band from the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. The band started in Teresa’s garage in the late summer of 2002. By December that year, they played their first gig, opening up for their friends, Drenched. They started out playing at local bars around the Virginia Beach area and soon spread throughout Hampton Roads. After playing a short period of time, Bully evolved from a five piece to a four-member, all-female, rock band. They have played for benefits, small festivals, and venues from Maryland to North Carolina. Thru their travels, they have experienced interesting places and developed many friendships and fans, which they love dearly. Bully now plans to expand their horizons. They currently continue to rock the East Coast.

With influences from so many different genres of music, Bully creates a sound that is hard to pinpoint. Their willingness to experiment with new ideas has resulted in a flavorful set mix. Influences of the band range from Weezer and Veruca Salt to Napalm Death and Drop Kick Murphy’s. They strive to reflect all of their influences in their songs, and all of the members contribute to the songwriting process. With this in mind, they have created magnificent melodic harmonies and crunchy guitar riffs. Bully’s songs range from heavy and edgy to angst driven ballads. They also have a few pretty cool covers on the bill. They are looking to become a familiar household name throughout the world.
