Bunkface has been given recognition for their contribution in Malaysia’s music industry with few prestige awards like Breakthrough Awards , Rockstar Awards, Ultimate Awards (Shout Awards 09), The Most Popular Group (ABPH 09) , Kembara Awards (AIM17) , Best Rock Song (AIM 17) and many more. Latest, Bunkface has been awarded with Rockstar Awards and Best Music Video Award for song Prom Queen for Shout Awards 2010.
The band has performed at many major events in Malaysia, Singapore, Maldives, Australia and United Kingdom. Latest, the band has been given recognition to perform with top international artists , Katy Perry, Tokio Hotel and Wonder Girls in a world class concert , MTV World Stage. Bunkface also was chosen by RIM to represent Malaysia for Hong Kong Asian Pop Music Festival at Hong Kong on March 2011. Bunkface’s mission is to bring their music to the international levels.
