Buranden

Buranden had no idea that when they gathered a team of volunteers to film a zero-budget music video, Music Japan Television would select it for national broadcast only a month later, stating that the music was “innovative” and “a very successful blend of genres.” After being chosen for showcase at the Kansai Music Conference in Osaka, the band carried out an international tour in Japan for a period of two weeks, an impressive feat for an American band having been only fully formed five months prior.
Buranden’s music is a mix of energetic electro-rock with the vocal presence of Gackt and the energy of Madonna. Their songs are bolstered by expressive lyrics in both Japanese and English, painting pictures brought to life by their live performances.
