Bio

Elmer Burchett, Jr. has toured the nation for years in at least a dozen influential Bluegrass bands, such as Jim Lauderdale, Dale Ann Bradley and Coon Creek, David Parmley and Continental Divide, and is a co-founder of the legendary Rambler's Choice/Wyatt Rice and Santa Cruz bands. Roscoe Morgan, Jr. has been a first-call fill in mandolinist for such acts as Karl Shiflett and Big Country Show, Wildfire, Valerie Smith and many others. It was his mandolin work that hepled propel what some consider to be the "original" Pine Mountain Railroad to national notoriety. Roscoe is a 3-time faculty member of Steve Kaufman's Kaufman Kamps, where Roscoe served as mandolin instructor to pickers from around the world. Roscoe and Elmer have both penned charting songs in Bluegrass music, with Elmer's works appearing on numerous recordings, such as the Elmer/Danny Barnes co-written "Livin' It Down", a recent hit for Steve Gulley. Roscoe co-wrote "The Old Radio" for Pine Mtn. Railroad, a still-requested song that climbed to #3 nationally. Roscoe and Elmer have surrounded themselves with greatness in the form of Jeremy Phillips (ex-Paul Williams and Victory Trio, Roscoe Morgan and Lonely Train) on guitar and Ronnie Parker, a master bassist/steel guitarist, on electric and acoustic bass.
