This group is as powerful and talented as any I've seen. They've already made an impact in Michigan and their CD isn't even ready for retail yet! I see good things ahead for Concrete Rodeo.....L.Garcia - Larry Garcia(Detroit Country Music)

El Gato has a reputation of being unpredictable, but this is as profound of a move as can be expected from one wily cat, "I'm very selective in my taste for Country Music, but when you hear this new band -[Concrete Rodeo] you'll see how diverse and talented we are." It's right up my alley...so to speak." - S/P Productions

After several enjoyable months of playing the Detroit Arenas with Red Ryder-El Gato helps form the Motor City's newest export-[Concrete Rodeo] This band is comprised of Brian Harris on Bass/Al Towle on Drums/Ross Gatzke on Guitars/Sharon Taylor on Lead Vox/Duane Harlick on Guitars & Vox/Bill Schmidt on Pedal Steel,Vox, Guitars, Banjo/Adam Allen on Fiddle, Banjo, Guitars, Vox, Pedal Steel -and of course El Gato on Keys, Vox and Harmonica "We're the key remaining elements from Red Ryder," says Brian Harris. "That's why the CD title is so perfect". The band is a diverse combination of Country with a twang of R&R, Jazz and Blues. "Our CD "Remnentz" is in it's final stages and has something for everyone," remarks El Gato (Executive Producer). Look for it in September."[burdalasmusic.com]. - News 101

The last time Basil and Sharon from Concrete Rodeo came to see me with their debut CD "Remnentz", I was flabbergasted. The production and musicianship was one of the best I've seen from Detroit. I will do whatever I can to help this talented band. - Tom Gelardi (Capitol Records Exec.)

Bio

I believe my music is a direct extension of who I am. All the different eras of music from the 50's to today's sound. All the philosophies and cultural changes. These are the manuscripts for which my music was derived. I just happen to use the particular tools which create the notation. Just as my music is diverse , so too are the musicians I've been fortunate to work with. I'm already working on my 2nd CD and it's as ecclectic a mix as the 1st. No telling from here. I promise to give as much thought and creativity in the studio as well as on stage. See ya there!
