The original lineup of Buried Next to The Horse consisted of Jason Massimo, Colin Wolf, Dylan Wolf, and Tristan Fischoll all hailing
from Bethel,CT. The band's name originates from an epitaph engraved on a monument in the center of their hometown. In 2006
Tristan Fischoll left to pursue his graduate degree in Philosophy at Yale University and Dylan Wolf left to focus on his band Orange Tree.
Colin Wolf than switched from playing guitar to drums and then members of Morningside Andrew Kraemer joined playing pedal steel, Scott Lilley joined
playing mandolin and harpsichord , and Mike Cody on bass. This lineup continued till 2008 when Andrew Kraemer and Scott Lilley decided to focus
on Morningside and the rest of Buried Next to The Horse are venturing towards a different music sound. They have played shows with Arms and Legs,
