Bio
Burkina Star in its current configuration since 2006 is composed of six musicians with two from the former National Orchestra. The objective of the band is the upgrading of traditional music from Burkina Faso through a fusion of traditional and modern instruments, which has gained the approval of a varied audience in Burkina Faso and allowed the group to win several music contests.
The band has been invited as special guests at several embassies accredited in Burkina Faso for national festivities.
Burkina Star has the ambition of showing to the world, by its talents, the values and cultural wealth of its homeland.
