Bio
Layton and Josh played in a high school band together called Salty and Embarrassing. In 2008, when Layton moved to Austin, they started messing around a bit with some original material. When things started to sound decent, Josh called up ex-coworker Chris to fill in on bass. Chris had the natural rhythm (part of hiphop duo OT23) and passion to fit the part. After playing extensively in Austin and surrounding Central Texas cities, Burly Boys have become a solid punk rock trio. With several studio sessions in the bag, a full length album is due out fairly soon.
