""Random Weekend of Local Music""

"I finished the night off in Oceanside at DJ Riders for a sick Metal show put together by the promotion company (no pun intended) Sick Promotions. I got there just in time to see this amazing band called Burning The Memory. They were very heavy and intense, with catchy riffs and some cool breakdowns. Their singer mixes it up with some brutal screams and melodic vocals. I enjoyed watching him scream in the crowd. The band was very tight, and all in all very enjoyable to watch. It definitely makes you want to get in the middle of a pit and let your aggression out!" - Auralfix Magazine

Bio

Forming in 2005, Burning The Memory has worked hard to create the sound they are known for. While most bands in the area have leaned towards writing more "brutal" music, Burning The Memory has maintained their melodic metal roots. Although the band in it's current form is fairly new, they are no strangers to Long Island's metal and hardcore scene. The founding members have been playing together in various bands for many years. The current line-up consists of Osvaldo Estevez (Vocals), Tim Di Martino (Guitar), Domenick Giardina (Guitar), Andres Barbosa (Bass), and Anthony Parlato (Drums).
Having recently completed an album with producer Dean Baltulonis (Sick of it All, Madball, This is Hell, Most Precious Blood) Burning The Memory will be releasing their debut effort entitled 'So Long The Dreamer' through Spare Change Records. Things look promising for the band, and the album is only the beginning of many great things to come. They plan on hitting the road to support the release, and have already begun writing new material. There is no stopping this band, as they make sure they do everything in their power to make their music heard by all. With an intense live show, powerful songs, and a massive sound, they have the full package to make it to the top.
