Burnish was founded by Shane. Three years searching for expressive, extraordinary, dedicated, professional, creative, sensible, individual, musicians resulted in Burnish (Basically, we poached Eric from a 'better' band, imported Robin from Scotland and realized Niall had been here all the time...
Shane will write a crazy song and then ask Burnish what they think. They either like it or they don’t. Nobody here plays stuff they don't want to. We're democratic and our in-band selection system is legendary... But it works…
We don't write nonsense. All our songs are personal and important to us. We've thirty songs you'll never (ever) hear... At least until we're all departed this life! We just play them for our own enjoyment, in studio.
We hate ruthless people and live a life of conscience. We love being together and relaxing with our pals. We love our band. We love our songs... Well, someone has to!
