Burn Proper

Burn Proper has stumbled upon a very refreshing formula. We never sacrifice originality and honesty to be anything other than ourselves. We put much emphasis on writing songs that say something that is memorable and distinct. When you listen to our music we want it to take you somewhere else and bring you back somewhat different. Or at least we try. We have been through a lot as a group of friends since we embarked on this task of figuring out a way to play music for life. With this being said, the music has always kept us close and even more determined to have it heard. We are originally from Virginia and started making music together in high school. For the past 5 years we have been writing and performing in Los Angeles. We have always seen music as a competitive beast, but one that is fought at home. We are only trying to be better than we were yesterday and surpass our own expectations. Our music reflects who we are as a band. So listen and get to know us.
