Bio
Burt Foster is an original singer/song writer born in the heart of West Des Moines, IA. He started playing guitar in his early teens and over a short period of time developed a mastery over the instrument as well as many others. He played in various bands around Des Monies gaining attention for his stage presence and fiery guitar solos.
His group eventually disbanded and left him without an outlet to express creative musicianship far from the rest. He later turned to the studio to continue creating his musical style. During this period to transformed into a full-fledged composer unable to settle for a limited amount of instruments in his art. His unique style blends an ever-changing multitude of genres that challenges the listener's definition of what music can be. Some of his influences are Frank Zappa, Jimi Hendrix, Gershwin, Bach, Wes Montgomery, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, and Galactic.
