Biography

In the midst of a muggy Nashville summer, the long awaited connection of lead singer, David von Wiegandt, and bassist, Michael Allison formed the foundation of Business Casual. With only a loop pedal, guitar amp, crackly wired mic, and a bass amp, Michael and David struck a chord with the song Hello (Mamma Ma Jamma), which in turn formed the basis of the band, Mamma Ma Jamma. The two were able to connect with a diamond in the rough when drummer, Jason Hutchings joined the band. The three of them jammed week after week in a musky, old shelter. The band wanted to sweeten their flavor, so they added pianist, Graeme Dennis, and new life was given to Mamma Ma Jamma.

Although members of the band later disbanded to other parts of the country, the fuel and desire remained. David and Michael kept the candle burning and later added drummer, Will Hale and keyboard player, Steve Gardosik to regenerate the band into Business Casual. By implementing the roots of funk, rock, jam, and soul, Business Casual relays a bass popping funk mixed with a Midwestern driven Southern Rock. With current stints at local venues and various parties, Business Casual continues to add to the fire burning in the musical mecca of NashVegas.
