A Few Notes:
This record from (iN) label founder and real-life bear, Butcher Bear and his life-friend Charlie, finds cut-and-paste style production married to exploding heart love-letters to people past. Recorded in sessions from 2008-2009 in Harveyville, KS in an old High School, and finished in his own Cave Studios in Austin, TX.
The four guests on the record are all Artists with records out and coming out on the (iN)Sect Records label in 2011.

Butcher Bear, founder and owner of (iN)Sect Records, steps out of the shadows to deliver his collaboration with long-life friend, Charlie. Butch lived in a high-school in Harveyville, KS for the better part of three years. The town, population 150, provided the cave-like environment to hone his craft, and bringing it back to Austin and linking with Charlie was a natural move.
She had been with the Dallas Lyric Opera for that same three year period and needed to break out on her own into something more creative.
This Bear/Girl DUO put together an explosive lyrical love letter to go over the "cut and paste" style production. Where found sound, loops and spontaneous beats come together. Their live set is a school of re-worked instrumentals from the underground electronic community, while their album gives you an intimate look into what love looks like.
They have opened for Waajeed, Nosaj thing, Gaslamp Killer, BATHS and just recently played Fun Fun Fun Fest here in Austin.
