Bio

Butch Horsley was born in 1970. He grew up on Sunrise Farms in Remlap Alabama. He was always around horses and farm life, of course being in the country and this environment you cannot help but love country music. It was here, at the young age of 5 he became interested in music. His dream one day is to follow the steps of the great country music singers such as Merle Haggard, George Jones, Hank Williams, George Strait and Hank Williams Jr. As we all know it takes time, money and lots of patience. However, the one thing that you have to have is the desire to make it. Butch has had a lot of set-backs and it is a miracle he is even here today. In 1972 he was kicked by a horse and was only given a 20% chance of making it through the night. In 1997 he was electrocuted with 70,000 volts, and in 2001 he was in a car accident that he should have never walked away from, to make a long story short Butch is a survivor and one that God has a definite purpose. In 1982-83 he went with the First Baptist Church of Remlap to North Carolina to an Indian Reservation to minister through music. Then went to Panama City and Disney World. The one thing that is so unique about Butch is his politeness and his love for others. You will never find a person as honest and caring as Butch. Everyone that meets him falls in love with him and wants to adopt him. Country music is a major driving force in Butch's life and in March 2005 he took his first steps to following his dream. He released his first Nashville recorded CD titled Butch Horsley. His debut CD consists of ten songs selected from Nashville Studios. Several of the local radio stations are currently playing his CD and has received positive feedback. Butch is currently doing events through-out the Alabama area. Unlike George Strait, Butch is not a household name, but events are occurring rapidly to change this fact. Butch is a construction worker by day and singer by night. He understands that the road ahead is full of many obstacles but remains positive. Like many Country and Western singers before him, he is paying his dues by performing at local and regional events. The one thing that remains constant is his desire to succeed. It is his love for Country music that keeps him focused on his goals. Butch also has his builders license, along with his day job as a construction worker and his side jobs, Butch still finds the time to pursue his dreams of becoming a Country singer. He allows nothing to get in the way of his desire to become one of the greatest Country music singers of all time. No matter what life throws his way he always comes back a survivor.
