BandRockJam

We strive to play continually progressive music that rocks hard enough to get anyone to start headbanging. We don't ever leave out the important aspect of hooking melodies and groovy rhythm.

Biography

We are a 3 piece rock band that loves to play live shows. Our influences range from great diverse bands like Led Zeppelin, Cage the Elephant and Rush. Heavier bands like Black Sabbath, Slipknot, and Guns N' Roses. We also love funky blues bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cream, and The Jimi Hendrix Experience. We've played many gigs over the last 3 years. Battle of the Bands, many block parties and garages, Live 59, Tivoli Theatre, Eyes to the Skies, and Carol stream Concert Series.

Lyrics

Novel America

Written By: Buying Trouble

We have to thwart the plans to start a war of attrition
Why can't you extrapolate the signs of doom
we're tempory so why don't you give it a rest ya
the earth is beating like a tachycardia

Dirty houses hide broken cars
lights are blocking out the stars
prison walls contort my mind
soon we'll all be left behind

Amnesty is given to the ones who are guilty
Furlough your biased choices push the ones who work
Give it all you got, give in, or give it a breather
The earth is beating like a tachycardia

Dirty houses hide broken cars
lights are blocking out the stars
prison walls contort my mind
soon we'll all be left behind

Sanctimonious choruses
monumental edifice
inauspicious circumstance
we castigate your intolerance
obscene gestures
pretty pain
we love to dance in the crimson rain
physical laws beyond all comprehension
cant be distinguished from divine intervention
This is what we call our novel America
