Buzzard Song

Buzzard Song

BandPopAdult Contemporary

Equally at home in front of thousands of Chicago (the band) fans, a joint full of the young, tattooed and pierced or helping die-hard hippie folksters get their groove on, Buzzard Song brings warmth, wit, great songs and virtuoso musicianship to any gathering.

Lately, chief Buzzard Eric von Radics has been doing mostly solo gigs, opening for acts as diverse as Boulder Acoustic Society and Devil Makes Three to Camper van Beethoven and Chicago in venues from backyards and warehouse parties to clubs, historic theaters and the Britt Ampitheater.

"Jeff" 1990 Recorded live to digital two track. Originally sold as hand packaged cassettes at places like Larry Blakes, Freight & Salvage, Paradise Lounge, and a fledgling Bottom of the Hill.

"Son of Jefe" 2006 Most of the songs from "Jeff" re-sequenced and mastered. "Jeff" disappeared but "Son of..." is pretty close. Still home duped, hand packaged and selling well at shows.

"Redux" 2007 Recieving airplay and garnering kind messages from internet and public radio station DJ's in many west coast cities.

Set List

Solo sets usually run between 25 to 40 minutes. EvR has been performing with electric guitars mostly recently but is perfectly comfortable with acoustics.

Band Sets last 45 minutes typically and usually favor the more rocking material. We're prepared to play for an hour and a half.
