i'm a solo guitar player,,,finger style with a good amount of slide work. i sing occasionally,,,a soft blues kind of voice. i was influenced by john fahey first, then the old slide recordings on blues albums. leo kottke woke me up with his first album......i've been painting for twenty years or more now and my CD "expressions"is the music that runs 'round my brain while i'm painting.i think of notes as dabs and strokes of color--i think of brush marks as music stuck on the surface of my work.i feel music when i paint-i see color light and line when i play.
