"The writing is strong and individual and there's a slightly vulnerable quality to Danny's voice that really connects and puts the songs across effectively. It all adds up to a band that sounds like it's going to go a long way this year” - Tom Robinson -BBC6 Music
"Love it...bright and breezy and with the sort of edge that sits somewhere between the London's Calling Clash and the Roses first album..." - John Robb - Goldblade, Author of The Stone Roses Official Biography
"There’s a twist of Strummer-esque funk and toe-tapping adventure that marks them out and suggests they've got a few classics tucked away for future firing. Worth keeping in range, if only to make sure you see what happens when they inevitably go off." - Chris Long - BBC Manchester
“They remind me of that feeling that surrounded early Oasis fans when someone had given a voice to youth again and it really did make you want to go out and cause some chaos.” - Michelle Hussey-BBC Manchester

Bio
Formed in the Winter of 2006 Manchester’s Bye Bye Johnny have been steadily working at their craft and building up a large and loyal local fanbase. After burning their rehearsal room to the ground they were forced to gig early to raise money for new equipment. With Liam Gallagher and Shaun Ryder counted amongst their fans BBJ went on to play the Strongbow Stage at last year's V Festival. Having played a sell-out show at the Roadhouse to showcase their self-released debut single Take Cover With Me last December, Bye Bye Johnny are beginning to make all the right kind of positive impressions.
