BYG CHEEF

Born and raised in Columbus, OH ( Livingston Ave) Byg Cheef, a South East side native, has been honing his vocal skills since a young age.  Coming from a musical family, Byg Cheef has had the honor of collaborating with his father, David B. English, as well as writing a song for the local trio group, The Tones M.D.M, whom are his uncles Michael Watson, Michael English and his father. Together, they have worked to bring the soul back to music.

Byg Cheef has also worked with other close family and friends, one of which is Queen Cee, (cousin) whom can be found on the SMASH hit single, “What Cha Kno” A Midwest Anthem. Byg Cheef is also one of the founding members of the Ohio Play Boyz aka OPB, and made his industry debut on B.E.Ts 1st reality tv show,  “Blowin UP Fatty Koo.” Byg Cheef was also an extra in the single,  “Bounce”, which was featured as the NBA Finals theme song that year. Byg Cheef has had the pleasure of housing many events throughout Columbus, OH including starring on the reality show, “My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding” which aired on TLC. His stage presence sets the bar for other performers, with his charisma and love for music. Byg Cheef has been a force of energy in the local music scene for quite sometime now. With performances in just about every venue in the city as well as opening for multiple industry artists, Byg Cheef can be found killing shows with his demanding stage presence. Along with fellow artists JUGGA (Grindstar Ent.) and Freedom Messiah  (The Crew), Byg Cheef is an all-out entertainer. Keeping any crowd engaged with diverse sounds, makes Byg Cheef a force to be reckoned with at ALL LEVELS!

February of 2016, Byg Cheef was blessed with the opportunity from Wazdown Records (L.A), with the promise of being pushed to the masses,  “ Slap’n N Ohio” and “ All I Want”. The Midwest Ohio native from the capital city of Columbus  has finally arrived to show the world what they have been missing……Real Music. With the right team and support system forming, we no doubt have a very special and profitable journey ahead and would appreciate any and all help to develop this great artist. So we are asking for sponsors, supporters, fans, friends and family of Byg Cheef, and just lovers of music to lend us a hand in breaking the glass ceiling that holds GREAT artist, like Byg Cheef, from showing  the world their full potential.
