By Grace is unlike any group performing today. The three young women and their mix of 1940’s -2008 songs with modern instrumentation and composition rearrangements create a truly unique sound. The group consists of three female vocalists (two are also pianists) and a guitarist. Lindsay Cummings, lead vocalist and pianist, arranges the songs they perform to give them a modern twist that crosses music genres as well as generations. The group has written numerous songs, and recently released their first CD, Overwhelming. The most recent addition to their set list is Open Your Eyes, an Alterbridge song Cummings arranged to three part harmony with beautiful piano/guitar accompaniment. Other members of the group include Nikki Schommer, vocals and piano; Jenni Carlson, vocals; and Ryan Eick, guitar.
