Bio

Byron Keith has never let it be said that he sat back and watched the world pass him by. That is evident in his tour schedule, which placed him in front of 50,000 people in 42 states over the last two years. And with the release of his latest project, he isn't about to slow down.

Byron, a talented young musician has a personality and smile that instantly draws others to him. He has a heart for ministry and longs to share his experience and faith with others through his music.

Called at a young age, Byron remembers how his father guided him in his walk throughout the early years of his life while struggling with some of the same temptations facing today's youth.

After winning a songwriting contest in high school, Byron began his study of music at Greenville College in Illinois. At Greenville, he not only grew as a Christian, but also as a musician. He credits this time as the kick-start of his music career because he was able to work with other successful Christian artist on different musical collaborations. He took every opportunity to further himself in the areas of singing, songwriting, production and playing piano. This is evident in his fourth independent project.

"Somewhere In Someones Living Room" is an amazing collection of songs that at one moment will have you laughing at a tongue in cheek look at the devil in "If I Where The Devil" and then seeking a deeper relationship with God in "Dear Jesus" and "Here Inside My Heart". You will find yourself tapping your foot or snapping your fingers to the music and catchy melodies, but the words cut deep.

"Many of the songs on this project are my life experience." Byron says. "I don't want anyone to think I am pointing my finger at them. I lived through all these songs and wanted to share them so that they could help me and others grow closer to God." And because of that deep conviction, "Somewhere In Someones Living Room" is being called Byron's most honest work yet.

"'I'm Trying' was a song that I knew had to be put on this album." Byron said. "But I knew that by putting it on I was going to have to share a part of my life that I would rather no one knew about." Byron adds, "The amount of people who are taken advantage of by other people, weather it be sexually, physically or emotionally, is growing, and I, being one of them wanted to find a way to help." Byron has been able to offer this help by encouraging people to contact a group called 1-800-HIT-HOME. "They are a confidential hotline that helps people work though abuse."."

Byron's hope is that people will be able to see God in every aspect of his life. No matter if it means letting others see the tough part of the Christian walk. After hearing Byron's unmistakable voice, music and lyrics, you will find yourself challenged to find the truth in your commitment to Christ.
