C.C. Grand

As a small kid Corvin listened to the LP's of his older sister. He played albums by Bruce Springsteen, Otis Redding and Johnny Cash endlessly. In the wake of listening to music, he learned to love and appreciate the sound of and play the guitar. As he grew up between the cows, horses and motorcross in the east of the Netherlands, he embedded an Americana sound into his music: "Rootstock and country were abundant: people played it in their cars, bars but also at home. As a boy I sang along to Jim Reeves and Hank Williams.. what a time!". As time went on, Corvin played in several bands, building a rich and vast amount of experience. His solo, self written work layed on the shelf, until he surrounded himself with a group of likeminded, experienced musicians. Together they created something more than the sum of the parts. Songs were forged into breakable yet solid pieces of art: C.C. Grand was born. Since then Rutger, Remus, Gerben, Stefan and Corvin never left each other sides when it came to their music. Recently they have gathered a vast following, building their reputation as an intense and solid liveband with their timeless mix of rock, pop, soul, americana and a hint of gospel, releasing their first music video "All There Ever Was" and recording their debut album. Great things are sure to follow!
