Bio

C12 is a modern rock band based out of Orlando, Florida. Mike Davis (bass), Joe Ramirez (drums), and Forrest Vaughn (guitar) formed C12 in the spring of 2002. After working with various singers, Justin McKee (vocals) and Dan Watson (guitar) joined in the Fall of 2002 to form the current 5 member group. All members of C12 have lived in the Orlando area for at least 10 years and have played in local bands, or performed solo work, for the last 5 years.

Dan Watson has played guitar for 13 years. He has played with local bands MVR (1996-1999) and Six Days Late (2000-2001). His influences are Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Steve Ray Vaughn, Django Reinhart, Ottmar Liebert, Nuno Bettoncourt (Extreme), Marty Friedman (Megadeath), Van Halen, Tool, Sevendust, and Dream Theater.

Forrest Vaughn has played guitar for over 16 years. He has played with local band Beautiful Simplicity (1997-2000) and turned down other offers to startup C12 with Mike and Joe. His influences are Tom Morello (Audioslave), Wes Borland (Eat the day), Mike Mushok (Staind), Randy Melser (Skrape).

Joe Ramirez has played drums for over 13 years. He has played with locals Punchinello (1996-1997), Forty Day Faith (1997-1998), and Beautiful Simplicity (1998-2000). His influences are Jimmy Chamberlain (Smashing Pumpkins), Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater), Tommy Stewart (Godsmack), and Dave Groehl (Nirvana/Foo Fighters).

Justin McKee has been singing and playing guitar for 6 years. He performed solo work for 3 years prior to joining C12 as lead vocalist. His influences are Genesis, Smashing Pumpkins, Tool, and Tears for Fears.

Mike Davis has played bass guitar for 6 years. He has played with local bands Beautiful Simplicity (1997-2000), and Beyond Haas (2000-2002). His influences are Adam Clayton (U2), Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Incubus, Tool, Soundgarden, and Smashing Pumpkins.
