C3

The Journey began in 1997, for the group called Cho-Zen 3, then originally comprised of members Felicia McLean-Williams,Terri Pittman and Kimberly Worley. These talented women opened for Kirk Franklin, as well as performed at The Lamplighter Awards Show, sponsored by Radio One. They’ve also appeared on TV One’s “The Gospel of Music with Jeff Majors”, which has been in rotation for several months. They were special guest for BET’s Executive Vice President of Marketing, Elder Vikki Johnson’s “Girl Talk”, a segment of the Gospel Heritage Conference in Washington DC just to name a few.

After a devastating loss of their best friend, sister in Christ and member Felicia Harris to breast cancer, the group took a hiatus. Shortly after losing their beloved member, C3 was forced to find new management after another heartbreaking loss of the groups manager to an untimely death.

Although C3 has faced many trials and tribulations they truly believe that God gives the hardest tests to his strongest soldiers. These women truly feel they are chosen by God to be a witness for Him and spread His Word to the masses.

Now, with the newest member Kimberley McKoy and new manager, Michael Sims, C3 is refocused, refusing to waste their God-given talents. Most recently these powerhouse gospel singers were nominated in four categories for the Rhythm of Gospel Awards.

C3 was also selected as the best Gospel Group of the Year presented by the NC Independent Music Awards Organization. This phenomenal contemporary gospel trio has been a reoccurring guest of the Pink Ghost (a foundation catering to the needs of awareness of breast cancer) for a few years now.
