Bio

The origin of C4 Trio is directly related to
the International Competition Siembra del Cuatro, produced by master Cheo
Hurtado
, in which Jorge Glem , Edward Ramirez and Hector Molina had excellent
performances in the 2004 and 2005 editions. And because of this, in November
2005, these three musicians were invited, along with a fourth cuatro player,
Rafael Martnez , to participate in a concert organized by the Foundation
Multifona. There, each would an perform of his solo work, but these musicians
spontaneously decided to duo, trio and quartet in the final closure. This
moment marked the genesis of this ensemble whose dominant figure is the
Venezuelan Cuatro.

From different cities of Venezuela, Jorge
Glem from Cumana, Hector Molina from Mrida and Edward Ramirez from Caracas,
converged in the Venezuelan capital to give way to one of the most important
musical events in recent years. In 2006, the group definitely assumed the name C4
Trio
