Discography

"EAT" - Cactus Peach (June 2011) 11-track LP

Three tracks off "EAT" have been streamed or "podcasted" by Austin Independent Music. Tracks #2. "Dreams = Heaven" 7/11/11, #3. "Dueling Twins" 4/25/11, and #6. "Telegraph" 9/26/11.

"EAT" is currently in rotation at KVRX 91.7 Austin Radio as well as potentially and unknowingly around the U.S. at the many college radio stations we mailed our cd to...?

Cactus Peach signed to Frog Music Licensing last August and is very happy to be amongst Frog's roster of great, independent artists such as The Octopus Project, Bill Baird, and The Black and White Years and many others.

They are currently anticipating the release of their follow up single "& the Cosmic Cowboys" featuring former members Ryan Neal and Dylan Neal (brothers indeed).

Bio

Cactus Peach has been known for their wild songwriting, unconventional band setup, as well as their newly added "old school" psychedelic oil projections at their shows. The band has fluctuated in number over the years (adding and subtracting folks) and due to this, prefers to think of itself more like a "family" of inactive and active members. Cactus Peach currently consists of the original lineup of Zane, Bain, Garret, and Frels, minus Micah. Other Inactive members include Ryan Neal and Dylan Neal, whom are on a long and seemingly permanent stead in Hollywood. “To keep things fresh”, they are what have been called a “switch band”, allowing all four members to rotate throughout their performance to different instruments in which they are proficient in. Their music has been described as "Celine Dion on Psychedelics" . Their influences ranges from Chopin and Debussy to the Beach Boys and The Thirteenth Floor Elevators, to Animal Collective and Smashing Pumpkins. The original members met while attending UT Austin through booze addled parties, malarky and whatnot.
