Cadence is a unique mix of William Lemons singer/songwriter sensibilities and the alternative sound of producer Ed Rose. Cadence originated after William Lemon went to Kansas in January of 2005 to record his debut ep entitled Haunt. After this William Lemon toured constantly under the name Cadence. Then he went back again in 2006 to recorded his first full-length album Between Love and Twilight. The new album features eleven brand new songs including I Have Been Ill and Faint Despair The new songs are similar to the songs on Haunt but build on its brooding and atmospheric sound. Ed Rose doubled as producer and bassist on the CD and brings an Enoesque quality to the record. Billy from the Blackpool Lights once again did the drumming and Aaron Pillar from the Appleseed Cast played lead guitar. Cadence is currently now touring in the west coast.
