With unique writing styles and ideas, Cadence Delicate hopes to push the boundries of rock music by encompassing a wide array of musical styles and genres while keeping a strong footing in traditional musical language. Angular metal, dark progressive surrealism, Latin rock, electronica, world-influenced and ambient rock are some genres that could describe Cadence Delicate. However, the quintet (formed in 2006) may best be summed up as "Art School Rock." Cadence Delicate brings an intense and uncompromising live show to the Kent, Ohio music scene. The performance captivates the audience with a mixed media experience of live music synced with artistic video, video segments connecting each song, and atmospheric soundtrack-style works. On record, the same intesity and artistic integrity is captured through the band's self-produced and self-engineered recordings. This art holds an essence that is progressive, deep, and inspiringly diverse - while remaining equally cohesive and understandable. Defining by remaining undefined.
