Biography

Hey...I'm Cadence Grace...I'm 19 years old and I've been singing since before I could even talk (true!!!...LOL!!!).
My friends say I'm very opinionated and kind of crazy...ya?!!!... :-)
In grade 6 I sang in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat at Toronto's Elgin Theatre. At age 15 I flew to Los Angeles and sang in 'The Model and Talent Agency Contest' [top 10 out of 1500 contestants for best vocalist -- just lucky!!!].

Now, I'm rocking 24/7....writing and recording songs with my songwriting partner and producer (JC Smith from Sound Of Pop) ....AND I'm taking a Music Business Administration course at Durham College (so fancy!!!).
Whew....life is busy...but, really, really, fun.
My songs are being played on tv shows and movies all around the world and I can't wait for my own world tour so I can rock for all my fans!!!

Lyrics

Ready To Kiss A Girl

Written By: Cadence Grace/JC Smith

The story begins with you
The first day we met I knew it was true
Ain't it funny when life turns out like this
The girl I can't stand is the girl I wanna kiss

I'm ready to kiss a girl goodnight
Shiver under the starlight
I'm ready to kiss a girl good night
And the girl I wanna kiss is you

I've been picking up clues from the lost and found
Not sure what they mean but I like how they sound
I'm not the kind of girl who would ever say no
When it comes to having fun all I've gotta say is go hurry up let's go go go

I'm ready to kiss a girl goodnight
Shiver under the starlight
I'm ready to kiss a girl goodnight
And the girl I wanna kiss is you

This is show and tell
Secrets are safe with me
Who would've known a kiss could taste so sweet?

Chorus out.

Somewhere Together

Written By: JC Smith/Ben Dunk/John Crown

Moving backwards fast
Getting out of our heads
It's not complicated
What we don't know
We never forget
Celebrate it

Living like the magazines
On the edge at seventeen
Going all the way
It's gotta be, you and me

If the world ends tomorrow
Even if we never wake up
We'll be somewhere together
Put your head on my shoulder
Even if it all crashes down
We'll be somewhere together

We're out in left field
But we're going to bat
No guts, no glory
Gonna do it our way
'Cause we know where it's at
And that's the story

Living like we're in a dream
This could be our final scene
Going all the way
It's gotta be, you and me

If the world ends tomorrow
Even if we never wake up
We'll be somewhere together
Put your head on my shoulder
Even if it all crashes down
We'll be somewhere together...

Chorus out.

Beauty Contest

Written By: JC Smith/Graham Stairs/John Crown

You catch me staring at the mirror
Trying to remember my next put down line
Some jerk says the writing's on the wall
My rose colored glasses must be color blind
Happy endings aren't my style
The way you lie makes me smile

You say it's not a beauty contest
Until I sign on the dotted line
You say it's not a beauty contest
Unless it effects the bottom line

You catch me taking my final bow
Trying to remember a good exit line
Some jerk says the whole world's a stage
My sunglasses reflect your bump and grind
Happy endings aren't my style
My self respect drives you wild

You say it's not a beauty contest
Until I sign on the dotted line
You say it's not a beauty contest
Unless it effects the bottom line

Let me introduce you to the non-stop song and dance
Last one left standing wins a million dollar advance

You say it's not a beauty contest
Until I sign on the dotted line
You say it's not a beauty contest
Unless it effects the bottom line

You say it's not a beauty contest
Unless I can read between the lines
I say it's not about the music
Until I leave all that shit behind
