Cadillac Casanovas

“HAIL, HAIL Rock & Roll!!” A classic yet powerful phrase popularized by the great Chuck Berry. To many rock musicians throughout the years, this slogan is still strong and meaningful. However, for the talented trio known as the Cadillac Casanovas, this is not just a slogan, but in fact a way of life. Performing a wide variety of 1950’s Rock & Roll and Rockabilly, the Cadillac Casanovas pull out all of the classic tunes from the decade that dominated juke boxes around the globe while still leaving room for some of the great deep cuts that are rarely heard. From the moment they hit the stage, no one can doubt their dedication to keeping the classics as fresh and vibrant as they were when performed by the masters themselves.

The stepping stones of this group were laid down in 2006 after guitarist/vocalist Carl Schreiber broke away from local act, The Neverly Brothers. Wanting to get a fresh start with a new band, Carl took notice of a skilled upright bassist by the name of Boneyard Brian of The Boneyard Brawlers. Brian, already knowledgeable of Carl, had witnessed some of the guitarist’s performances and was well aware of his musical potential. The two became good friends. In 2007, they decided to join forces and perform as a nameless duo while actively searching for a drummer to provide a much needed foundation to their classic rock & roll rhythms. As luck would have it, in the fall of 2008 Carl became aware that drummer Russ DeLuca, who was a co-worker at the time, was no longer involved with the band he’d been performing with for the last 10 years. Enthusiastic about working together, the three players began practicing and tightening their sound to a point of perfection.

Today, they form the Cadillac Casanovas. All three members, having been involved in the local music scene for many years, have contributed to building a following of dedicated fans eager to attend their shows. Armed with a nostalgic list of songs from some of the most well-known pioneers of the 1950’s such as Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, Elvis, Buddy Holly, Carl Perkins, Ricky Nelson, etc., the Cadillac Casanovas will captivate any crowd for hours on end.

Authentic sound, vintage look, amazing stage presence and a rendition of the national anthem that would make anyone move their feet…the Cadillac Casanovas are true guardians of ROCK & ROLL.
