Cahaba

Cahaba is a trio consisting of high school friends Oliver Stansell, Ryan Brown, and Austin Jones.  The three played in a group together for almost two years after Oliver and Austin graduated high school.  After Ryan started going to UNA, the band was put on hold.  In the summer of 2014, the trio decided to make a new band with a new and stronger musical focus.  The first single, "Hindu Cows", was recorded weeks after the newly formed band started.  Cahaba played a few shows before going into the studio to record their debut EP.  Early 2015, "The Pale Whale" was the debut EP that was released and that is when the momentum started to pick up for Cahaba.  The trio has since been playing in cities such as Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, Florence, Murfreesboro, Huntsville, and more.  Cahaba has also appeared twice on Birmingham Mountain Radio to promote their music.  2015 has Cahaba picking up more and more steam as they continue to spread further around the southeast.
