Cailean Lewis

Cailean Lewis knows your demons, and he has the songs to prove it. His music is so richly layered that it gives you something deeper with every listen, though it only takes the first to be hooked. The haunting folk melodies deliver poetic narratives fitting of a gothic western, while his rock/pop sensabilities keep you humming for days. Growing up in and around the thriving Halifax music scene Cailean made a name for himself as a member of the popular garage rock band The Gideons. On his own he has developed a strong cult following and a reputation as one of the the country's best kept secrets. Having just completed two cross country tours and a relocation to Toronto he continues to broaden his audience; playing with acts like Timber, Timbre, Joel Plaskett and The Heavy Blinkers.
