"CAIMBO: A bright breezy and energetic sound that combines honest hard rock with the stadium pretensions of U2's louder moments..."
Jerry Ewing, Classic Rock/Total Rock
"CAIMBO They are R.O.C.K. in that old school, big hair, strutting and sweating way. The combination of cracking tunes, good looks, youth and that inherent thing that makes some bands just spark and fizz onstage. They played like it was Wembley and there were 90,000 fans singing all the words. It's just a matter of time!"
Marsha Shandur, XFM Radio
"Young Cambridge rockers CAIMBO who sound incredibly accomplished for their tender years and should follow Razorlight into the charts..."

Bio
Their early twenties might have just rolled around but Cambridge four-piece Caimbo have
already been together longer than the average band career.
Best mates at school, Leo, Piers, Dave and Ali fell into their roustabout, lets-take-on-theworld
little gang at fourteen. For seven years theyve written great tunes, thrown them out,
written better ones, argued like brothers and rocked each gig like it was Knebworth.
Steeped in classic songwriting influences that include Free, The Police, U2 and The
Strokes, the band have spent the last two years working with producers Ben Mason (The
Kooks, Arctic Monkeys, Razorlight) and Simon Efemy (Pantera, The Wildhearts), honing
their brand of spanking Brit rock to perfection. And attracting no little attention in the
process
Nike had to have a piece of Caimbo action in 2007, using the bands London for an
extreme sports promo video soundtrack; the Download festival crowd took the boys to
heart in 2008 despite a lack of tattoos and biker jackets; and media from XFM to Time
Out, Classic Rock to Q have been effusive in their praise, variously describing the band as
McFly tackling the Guns n Roses songbook and, succinctly, R.O.C.K. In that old
school, big hair, strutting and sweating way.
The band moniker might have its genesis in Leos nickname for his hometown, but theres
nothing parochial about Caimbo. With ambition to match their consistently impressive live
show the band are, as they always have been, ready to take on the world...
