CAIPT congealed in early June of 2005. The band consists of five long time brothers all sharing the same influences in music. They are all from Atascadero, California. Owlbear Stirnkorb delivers the roaring vocal message with precision, Evan Baldwin (Mumpy) and Garry Syperda III electrify and harmonize with their guitars, Travis Buckland (Mavys) hands down OWNS the drums, and Skybear Wansak melodically produces the booming lows on the bass. They recorded a seven track demo in early December of 05' at Rockwell Sounds in Atascadero, and they immediatly emerged into the Metal scene. The Band quickly established a strong foundation of fans as well as name recognition on the Central Coast. CAIPT Brings to the stage a loud, technical performance with a very high level of ferocity and conviction that always leaves the crowd writhing in anticipation of the next move. Finally, after a long period of latency, CAIPT returns to the scene with all new material and a hunger for intensity like never before. At the same time, CAIPT is in the process of mastering their first full length album at Rockwell Sounds. The New Album Will Be Titled "SHAPELESS..."
