Bio

Caitlin Jemma is a young folksinger, bluegrass musician, and multi-instrumentalist who grew up in the tiny historic mining town of Virginia City, Nevada. She now resides in Northern California where she performs as both a solo musician and with a band of musicians who play instruments such as the viola, upright bass, mandolin, and banjo. Caitlin released her debut album, "Home Means the Hills", in July 2012 and is currently working on her second album to be released this year.

Caitlin has been described as having a unique voice and serious pipes, unafraid to use them, well-written songs, and great stage presence.

"She has a way with words, telling tales of magical forests and the like. Her voice is clear as a mountain stream with a bit of backwoods twang hinting at roots in the Appalachians... She draws inspiration from old country songs, something you hear in the sweet harmonies that recur on her record. She strums a guitar on some songs, a mandolin on others; I particularly like the banjo tunes." -Bob Doran, North Coast Journal

Caitlin has gained national and international popularity through her music tours around the West Coast and in the U.K.
