Cal Brown is an Atlanta-based singer/songwriter whose music combines classic blues and soul with modern pop and alternative influences. Rhythmic guitar riffs lay under catchy, singable melodies and heartfelt lyrics, creating an approachable sound that feels both comfortable and original.
Cal's second official EP, entitled "Spring," was released May 14th, 2019 and has been curated by a variety of radio stations and Spotify playlisters; some of the more notable placements include radio stations such as W!ZARD, 99X Atlanta, Fishcreek Radio, and Rudaroo Radio, as well as popular online playlisters Songpickr, and AlexrainbirdMusic.
Cal has been performing around the Atlanta metropolitan area for three years, playing shows as both an opener for larger touring acts, such as The Coronas and Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, and as a headliner local shows. In late 2018, Cal formed a four-piece band of experienced and talented musicians who often perform with him as The Cal Brown Quartet.
