American composer Cal, has managed to re-define the boundaries between contemporary classical, World and New Age music. Capturing the hearts of listeners around the globe by offering a unique blend of “symphonic ambience,” he has created a style all his own which, judging by the success of “Horizon,” his debut CD, has filled a broad gap on today’s musical menu.

A self taught musician, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, the composer, a former New York City police officer in Harlem’s 32nd Precinct, has had his music featured on American television and radio stations around the world.

Now retired from the NYPD and living in upstate New York with his wife and two daughters, Cal has just finished filming his first full length television special, "Cal...Forever and Beyond," which can currently be seen nationwide on PBS. This January the show placed as the #2 New Age television program in America, only behind Yanni's new "Voices" special. Cal's new "live" CD "Forever," has just been released as well.

Cal is currently in production on his new PBS television special and CD, "Promises,"which will be released later this year.
