Bio
Calansho are an indie rock band from Wales. Since '04 the band have written original material. Solid writing in their native Welsh as well as English have won Calansho consistent play on Welsh radio. Their popularity has had them performing on Welsh TV music shows Uned 5 and Bandit. Among the live stages they have graced are classic venues The Cavern Club in Liverpool, The Rock Garden in London, and The Roadhouse in Manchester. Recently the band played the Made In Europe festival in Villadossola, Italy.
Though influenced by such bands as Radiohead, AC/DC, Metallica, The Killers, The Who, Queen, Super Furry Animals and Led Zeppelin, Calansho maintain a unique sound all their own - You'll have a hard time making up your mind about this one. Their sound can switch it up from high energy punk-pop, to slick-lyric indie rock and then, when the time is right, bring it down to a slow-smoking shoe-gaze.
