CALDEN musical talent, incorporating gospel, inspirational and R&B sound is going to take her to the top of the music industry. She has performed for audiences of other artists such as Damon Little, Keith Wonderboy Johnson, Kim Waters, Roy Ayers, R 'Kelly, SILK, Crystal Waters, Impressions, Marvin Gaye Tribute Tour, Kurtis Blow, Single’s Nite Out/Single’s Magazine, concerts in Germany, Italy, France and Spain, Apollo Theater, Harlem, NY. Nominated in the 45TH GRAMMY AWARDS for the song (You Should Have Been In Church), from the compilation cd - distributed by Mega International Records. The song “Rise Up” released on Mega International Records, Vol 2 compilation cd. Winner of (STAR 94.1 FM) "Catch A Rising Star" song competition - (You Should Have Been In Church) from her cd "I've Come Too Far" in April 2003. CALDEN has been frequently seen on the urban music TV show "Up-N-Coming" in Philadelphia, PA. Born in Detroit, Michigan, raised in Somerville, Alabama, lived in Europe for nine years, influenced her unique vocal style. Listening to artists like, Betty Wright, Yalonda Adams, Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin,Whitney Houston influenced her musical preferences as young as age nine. CALDEN is in the studio working on her sophomore album. Her electrifying performances will keep you entertained and will capture the hearts of millions.
