Caleb Miller delivers an excellent guitar-driven worship album here. The 12 tracks are extremely uplifting and inspirational. The production is excellent with a variety of different instrumentation. The biography states, "'(prayer)' is more than just another worship album... it is heart-cry of a man desiring to see little of himself and much, much more of God." The songs were written by Caleb and are exceptional. They are all based around guitar and on numerous tracks there is a distinct Celtic feel. There is exuberant praise mixed in with tender ballads. Check out the rock driven "Hearts Full Of Praise", "Deeper" and the title track, then the softer moments are great too, with stand outs being "Holy (All The Earth)", "Everything" and "Salvation Songs". It's been difficult to pick stand out tracks because they are all so good, and as a result this album has spent some time in my CD player on repeat; it getting better with every listen. It appears to bring you into the presence of God without much fuss and that is no mean achievement in this hectic world. - Andrew Reeve-Smith
