Sacramento, CA (December 11, 2013) — Calico Jonez® is the hottest unsigned Artist in the Atlanta region; states DJ SCREAM, a well-known Atlanta DJ. Born in Memphis, TN, Calico grew up in Northern California where his style of rapping was derived and where in 1992 he won 1st place in Oakland, California at a hip hop contest. Later that year, Calico was an opening act for MC Hammer at KMEL’s Summer Jam at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, CA.
Jonez is President of Swish! Music Group, a Division of KIASHA Entertainment LLC. He has been featured on Soulja Boy's S.O.D Money Gang label, released the smash mix tape "History in The Making" hosted by DJ SCREAM which drove MySpace crazy leaving him with an astonishing 10.8 million views, an estimated 30,000 friends and over 13 million plays. The teen sensation has been driving teens wild with his smash single "I Took Yo Chic" featuring Soulja Boy.
